Bean Boots, KJP, and Pumpkins...Oh My!

Friday, December 23, 2016

Person and I took a day off of our busy schedule to carve out time to go to the local pumpkin patch. Here we were astounded by the amount (and size) of all of the gorgeous pumpkins.  Dressed for fall, although it felt like summer, we embarked on the journey to find the perfect pumpkin. Old Navy had the perfect lightweight oxford and vest to compliment my red pants (also from Old Navy). Bean Boots were perfect for trucking through the fields, and my purse is vintage fossil. The necklace I'm wearing was from Person. He gave it to me last year for Christmas. My lip color is Urban Decay in Glow. KJP is my all time favorite brand, their classic American style with a goal of "American-Made" makes this brand special. I am wearing my favorite bracelets, "Classy Girl" and "Golden Birch". Both are beautiful separately yet, together, they compliment each other perfectly.
Till next time!

Falling for Fashion

Thursday, December 22, 2016

Bring on the hot apple cider and the bonfires, Fall is here! Wrapped up in my favorite L.L Bean flannel and my all time favorite shoes, Bean Boots of course, we were ready to conquer the day! I don't know about y'all but I love a good olive pant! The colors of my flannel corresponded with my navy camp socks and pants perfectly! My bag is vintage from an old friend. For pumpkin picking, I was all about my lace up pointed ballet flats that I found at Target. It is a blessing that person is gearing up to be an IvyLeague football player because all of his old sweaters don't fit him anymore...leaving vintage Ralph for ME! I paired this emerald sweater with a button up skirt from Target, for a trendy twist. Bad hair days call for a tan hat that was so warm during our adventure. I had such a blast frolicking in the leaves, picking the perfect baby pumpkins for my Thanksgiving table!

I've made it a goal to post on my Instagram more, so follow

Stripes & Sunglasses

As the leaves begin to change, I countdown the days until the weather finally hits below 60 degrees so I can wear my favorite turtleneck. This perfect J.Crew top is so lightweight, yet just warm enough for the fall day. I paired the stripes with suede oxfords and jeans to chase Lucy around in the leaves! She has a tendency to want to play and run around especially when I'm in a rush, or in heels! Lastly, my favorite sunglasses are from Forever21. Yes, as cheap as they are, I am a absolute klutz and so I've been waiting to invest in some new quality sunglasses. Any suggestions for new sunglasses? I'm thinking I want to get some RayBans Clubmasters, because of their timeless yet trendy appeal.

On another note,
I have been slammed with college apps, senior year and life in general. I have had a ton of experiences and posts that I cannot wait to share them all with you! Big things are in the works, and I'm so excited to finally show y'all some of the projects I've been working on. So thank you, to the ones who have been patiently waiting, those who have constantly encouraged me and nagged me (in the most loving way), and those who have decided to join me in this adventure. Special thanks to Sophie  for being an amazing photographer. Y'all go check out her page, sophielizabethphotography.weebly.com and her instagram, sophbethphotography!

Until next time,

The Perfect Pullover

Tuesday, August 9, 2016

Fall is right around the corner, and I could not be more excited! From spending Friday nights cheering on my favorite football team, to relaxing on the lake, watching the leaves change while getting lost in my favorite book on Saturdays, Fall is by far my favorite season! To top it off, finishing the weekend with smores and great friends! Although the South lives for the sweet summer days complete with a scorching high of 98 degree, Fall is right around the corner! Although I will not be complaining when the weather cools down, I highly my favorite sweatshirt from "The Sunken Ship"! This classic light Maroon pullover is the perfect fit for the breezy fall mornings all the way into sitting in the stands on Friday nights! Hopefully, summer will not last forever because I'm ready for bean boots and sweaters!
Until next time,

Sandy Feet and Salty Hair

My happy place lies within the little beaches, pop-up shops, and delectable food stops that are tucked within the scenic 30A highway, located in the Sunshine State. The gorgeous beaches covered in powdery white sand that slip into crystal clear water that shimmers and sparkles as it catches the warming rays of the sun, are what I dream about on the rainy Mondays in February. Luckily, the time was here to escape to the beach with my beloved family and most favorite person in the world. The days were filled with laughter and cheer as we basked under the sun on the beach and at the pool. On the dreaded days when the temperature reached over 100 degrees, we found relaxation in natural springs that were hidden deep in the woods. This refreshing 68 degree water was more than refreshing. Kayaking the deep blue with my person tested our nautical abilities and proved to be a very fun and enjoyable workout for the two of us. We finshed the week by walking the beach at sunset and capturing the moments in a timeless form for us to reminisce on. 30A you never fail to disappoint! While the heat and humidity limited my waradrobe, my beloved Kiel James Patrick bracelet rarely left my side. The annual beach trip left me feeling beyond blessed due to the immense love, laughter, and memories that were created and shared; I will treasure this trip forever!

Take Me Out To the Ballgame

Monday, June 27, 2016

The official feeling of summer sets in when the phrase "Braves Game" is spoken. For years, I can recollect many memories of sweet summer bliss spent at Turner Field. From the rumbling roar of the stadium's excited inhabitants of the evening, to the refreshing sip of Diet Coke after a handful of the essential baseball snack of salty roasted peanuts, Turner Field has been the epitome of a perfect summer evening. Atlanta has embraced her nickname "Hotlanta" as the temperature peaked at a record 100 degrees! Despite the raging heat, I dressed in theme to the courageous red, white and navy blue and even wore my beloved red converse (which have seen better days).  As the sky turned a pristine shade of blue, Person and I settled deep into our seats to relax and embrace the beginning of a beautiful summer.

Welcome to Atlanta

Monday, June 6, 2016
As the insanely hectic month of May finally came to a end, Person and I determined it was as necessary to take an adventure to explore downtown ATL, as air is for survival. Ponce City Market has been a native hot spot for some time, and it was our job to determine if the food was as delectable and mesmerizing and the shops as unique and trendy as they are said to be. Dressed head to toe, sporting our favorite brands such as KJP, J.Crew and Ralph Lauren, we walked around and were astounded at the creative and local flair that decorated the newly restored Sears building. By far, my favorite pop-up shop was the vintage Atlanta Braves shop that carried the softest t-shirts and hats ever known to man. As we hit the mid-afternoon halt, caffeine was the savior. We left Ponce and traveled to Octane Coffee Bar, located deeper into the city. Because the city was a scorching 94 degrees, iced coffee became my best friend. Even though Person does not rely on the magical power of coffee on the daily like the rest of us average humans, He decided to take a risk and down a iced coffee as well (Although, I being the coffee queen that I am should have made his due to his overzealous load of cream and sugar malfunction that shall not be spoken off). Nevertheless, the day was filled with laughter, adventure and fantastic company....the perfect ingredients to a summer Sunday.

Boston Bound

Tuesday, May 31, 2016

Recently, My person and I took a little weekend getaway to the fabulous East Coast to experience the fascinating sights and sounds of Boston, MA. The East Coast absolutely captivated my heart! From the cobblestone streets, intimate flower shops tucked deep into the city walls, and the unique and trendy food stops around town, Boston succeeded at creating lifelong memories that I will cherish forever. The visit was centered around My Person and his potential academic and football endeavors at the prestigious Harvard University. Cambridge absolutely stole my heart for timeless beauty and effortless grace. My bean boots served me well through the chilly walks in the city while providing comfort to my feet. My J.Crew Camp socks never fail to disappoint as they provide a pop of color (Maroon of course). Although I am still in debate over which city holds my heart.....Boston most definitly secured its place.
XOXO
